The Karkara Valley Yurt Camp occupies a stunning location, along the riverside right on the border with Kazakhstan, and surrounded by lush green hills and trees. The yurts are split into two groups, with the standard together and four luxury yurts at the end. All the yurts have proper raised beds and en-suite bathrooms. The luxury yurts are beautifully decorated inside and boast floor to ceiling windows and a spacious entry porch. Hot water and electricity are available at all hours. There is a dining cabin at one end, where all meals are served buffet-style. There is Wi-Fi available in the dining area, but not within the yurts themselves. There are hikes of varying lengths and difficulties which are possible from the camp. The yurt camp is usually open from May 1st to mid-October.
