Eagle hunting is a tradition which has been practiced by the nomadic people of Central Asia for thousands of years. Eagles are trained from a very young age, and they develop incredibly strong bonds with their hunters. Although hunting is no longer the main source of food and clothing for the nomadic people of Kyrgyzstan, the tradition of eagle hunting is being kept alive and demonstrations are often shown for tourists, as well as forming part of some local festivals.

During the demonstration, you will meet an eagle hunter and his bird, and witness their teamwork in action.
